Queries

Saving a Query

You may find that you will need to frequently run the same query. Your laboratory system has a feature that allows you to save your queries for future access. This feature makes it much more efficient to perform the same query over and over again. These saved queries are listed in the Data Store Home Page. Both simple and advanced queries can be saved:

1. Perform the simple query or the advanced query

2. Select the save icon link above the query results. You will be directed to the Save Query Page.

3. Enter a name and description for the query. Select the User Groups that can view or edit the query.

4. Select the Save button

5. You will be redirected to the Data Store Home Page. Note that the query was saved and appears under the Saved Queries section.
