RESEARCH

My research at the University of Washington is focused on the evolving field of Neuroinformatics, the field that addresses informatics, computer and computational challenges created by modern brain research techniques. This includes various aspects of analysis and processing of brain imaging data, computational neuroimaging, quality control and analysis automation, integration and visualization of multimodality data (fMRI, structural MRI and DTI, EEG/ERP data, spectroscopy, cortical stimulation mapping data and other modalities). I am currently working on quality control and data managemet for fMRI, DTI and Voxel Based Morphometry analysis, as well as Experiment Management Systems that support Visualization and Integration of 3D neuroimaging data.

COMPUTER SKILLS

In my present position, I develop and implement software tools for integrating, analyzing and visualizing multimodality data collected in patients participating in neurosurgical study. My experience includes software development for Digital Signal and Image Processing, Data Acquisition and Process Control. I developed algorithms for mathematical and statistical data processing and analysis, analysis atomation tools and experiment management systems.
