Scanner Image Menu

The Image menu let the user manipulate the current image in Scanner. The first two lines in the menu show the directory and filename of the current image. There are two basic operations available on this menu:

LOAD IMAGE
Load an existing image into Scanner. Clicking here brings up a file browser which lets you move through the directory hierarchy. Once you find the image you want to load, click on its name to retrieve it. TIFF and WBI images are currently supported.
ADJUST IMAGE MAPPING
Adjust the greyscale mapping of the current image. Clicking here brings up window and level sliders; these determine how the intensities in the image will be mapped into greyscale values. Once the two sliders have been set to the desired values, click on "DO IT" to compute the new mapping. Click on "Exit" to return to the main Scanner menu. This operation is only available for WBI images.
