Scanner Module

The Scanner program allows users to segment structures in medical images. Primarily, it is intended to reduce the amount of digitizing that needs to be done by hand. Scanner uses a combination of user input, edge detection, and two-dimensional shape models to guide the search for organ boundaries.

Here's a quick description of the major documentation sections:

Scanner Basics
Describes the process a typical user would go through to segment images with Scanner.
Scanner Reference Manual
Goes into more depth on Scanner, describing its menus and the features they provide.
Scanner Object Classes
Describes the underlying object classes used implement the Scanner program.
Scanner lisp files
Describes current lisp files in the xscanner/lsp directory. Sets of lisp files define various applications. At some point these should be moved to separate modules.
