XMTH-LUBKSB

source files: xmth.[ch]

SYNTAX

(XMTH-LUBKSB :MATRIX <float-array> :B <float-array>)

DESCRIPTION

This function performs backsubstitution on an array which has been previously decomposed using xmth-ludcmp. See section XMTH-LUDCMP.

The :B vector holds a right-hand-side vector to be solved on input, and on return holds the corresponding solution. The decomposed matrix must be square; if it is NxN, the :B vector may be N, 1xN or Nx1. (Allowing all three is a bit sloppy but makes for easier lisp coding by reducing fiddling just to change dimensions.)
