Introduction

This manual documents Skandha4 for programmers intending to write application lisp code and/or add new C-coded primitives to Skandha4. This manual is not intended for nonprogrammers who only want to use the system (at least not yet).

Skandha4 is a 3-D graphics server implemented in slisp (skandha-lisp), which is in turn based on David Betz's 76704.47@CompuServe.COM 'xlisp', a small lisp interpreter written in portable C.

The generic slisp documentation should be available from the top level of the info tree under slisp. All basic LISP functions documented in the slisp reference manual should be available in skandha4 as well, assuming skandha4 was installed properly at your site.

The skandha4 info tree begininning at this node documents those functions added to xlisp by skandha4. The first topic is a tutorial decribing the organization and basic concepts of skandha4. The second is an exhaustive reference of all skandha4 functions.
