Skandha4 Downloads

The following versions of the Skandha4 source code are available for you to try. These have been tested most recently on Linux using Mesa libraries for OpenGL support, but they should also work on SGI machines. Good luck!

Version Description
skandha4_1_6_pub.tar.gz This is the best place to start. This is version 1.6, but it includes only the "public" modules. This setup requires minimal extra libraries and should therefore be easiest to compile, while still giving you access to most of Skandha4's graphics capabilities.

skandha4_1_6.tar.gz This is version 1.6 with all the modules we're ever created. To compile this version, you will need:

libege.a, our library for reading headers on GE MRI files
the MINC package from the Montreal Neurological Institute (MNI)
NetCDF

skandha4_autoconf.tar.gz If you're really ambitious, this is a version of the code that was being converted to use GNU autoconf. When last touched, it was working for all the pub modules, but bit-rot seems to have set in since then. We would love to get this setup working. If you want to play with it, you should look at Kevin's notes on Skandha4 and autoconf.
