Assignment 1

1. Write down your background and interests

Write up a brief (one or two paragraph) academic autobiography explaining your background and interests in the context of this course. Basically, what is your experience in the biological, medical, information, and computational
sciences, and why are you taking Biology and Informatics?

What do you most want to learn in this course? Do the proposed syllabus, schedule, objectives, and goals make sense to you, and are these in accord with what you want to accomplish? Do you have any suggestions for changes in the syllabus or format that could help make the course better meet your needs?
