Brinkley et al, Design of an Anatomy Information System

Optional:

Hinshaw2002, Model based 3-D segmentation

2. Think about the following questions and be prepared to discuss them

Revisit this question: What is the difference between symbolic and spatial  information in anatomy?

What are the major issues in imaging informatics?

How can spatial and symbolic anatomical information be brought together in an information system that can  help alleviate the shortage of anatomy educators?
