MUSIC, MUSIC, MUSIC!

Performance

When I'm not working, I am usually doing something music-related. My current main project is playing clarinet and various other things with Circus Contraption. Before running away with the circus, though, I played clarinet in UW's Wind Ensemble and the Seattle Creative Orchestra. I am also a self-taught pianist.

Composition

I write music. This used to be more of an occasional hobby, but I've been composing more since joining the circus. I've written works ranging in scope from solo piano to concert band. Samples might be available here someday, but don't hold your breath.

Listening

I'm lucky enough to have a job where I can listen to music as I work. So I take advantage of it! I think my tastes are pretty diverse, but I'll let you judge for yourself from the list of favorites below. You may have noticed my "CD Pick of the Month" at the top of the page. Feel free to examine my list of past picks.
